Before more people misunderstood "KVETCH" as a person name, perhaps I should explain the meaning a little. Kvetch actaully meant to complain and whine. This blog named "Kvetch Haven" so that I can complain a little, whine a little about life. Of course, this blog will not be solely on constant whinning and complain.
Some creation from me~

whispered @ Wednesday, February 14, 2007 by stardusz First, here is something I did for St Valentines' Day *grin*
Wow!!! How time flies... Or how time slipped by without me noticing...
It's that time of the year again, where people start frowning because it is St Valentines' Day... Gheez, what's wrong with people, single and available ones I mean... It's another normal day like 13th Feb, 14 Apr, 16 May...
Every day's a Valentine if the couple are every so engaged in Love... Besides, there are friendship, kinship love that we have neglected over the time.. Share this day with a friend or two..
Oh ya... resolution for my blog this year... To upload artwork that I have did like the one uploaded above. (Provided that I have the time, that is)
whispered @ Saturday, October 07, 2006 by stardusz Left my home around 12pm for a slimming trial session that worth SGD 10.50. When I reached there I was a little late. But well, they still treat me like a VIP (well, they want to earn my money).
A lady "analyze" me and asked me a few routine questions and got one of her girls to serve me. I was led to a room to change into a robe and guide to a waiting area where I'll need to soak my feet in some warm water anda cup of detoxicating tea was served.
A while later I waas lead to an area to have my weight and height recorded and the process begin. I was led to a room with a machine that will work on my muscles and 20min of usage is equivalant to 360 sit-ups. I think I was on that machine for almost an hour, so... that means I have did 1080 sit-ups!!!
Next, I was wrapped in some plastic and told to lie in a blanket that will produce heat to reduce water retention. I started sweating after lying in the blanket for 10min and when the session ends, I was all wet with perspiration.
The lady then led me to the bathroom to take a bath and weighed me again.
Guess what?! I lost 0.5kg after torturing myself for 2hours.
I wonder was that suppose to be a success of total failure.
whispered @ Saturday, September 30, 2006 by stardusz This is crazy or maybe a way that fate "welcome" me to the real and cruel world. A colleague-cum-lunch buddy of mine, W, was told to leave the company on Thursday afternoon (I believe).
I got a shock and could barely concentrate on my work on Friday. (I only knew about that on Friday morning when another lunch buddy, J, broke the news to me)
Not long after, I received a SMS from W asking for my MSN. He added me in his list soon after. We chatted for a moment and of course talked about the reason of his resignation.
Well, I shall not disclose the reason but all I can say is that someone comments (which is definitely negative and insulting to a certain extend) can cost someone his/ her job/ career.
May your turn come soon and learn a lesson a hard way. Nope, this punishment shall not be beared by their children but they themselves.
Meanwhile, I will try to help W out within my limit. Cheer up W, sunshine will peek through the dark clouds soon. The sky won't be grey forever.

whispered @ Sunday, September 24, 2006 by stardusz While taking a break from rushing my assignment and browsing through one of the local popular forum, I came across a thread that title 'Mahathir dismisses Singapore as a "tiny" country"', someone extracted this from Reuters
After I've read through the article I find it more of an entertainment news.
Not that I am proficient with Malaysia's law and regulation, just that it happen that I have relatives living in Malaysia and obviously not very happy with their government. Hence, I know that Malaysia Government are not as fair as what Dr. M said. Chinese, as well as Indians who are treated as minorities in Malaysia, are not as fairly treated.
One of the many regulations in Malaysia is that your co-partner has to be a Malay when you need to get a house, open a shop or get a license for your lorry. When you are employing staff for your company, you'll need to have at least 1 Malay employee or else, you might not be able to continue your business very soon.
When I saw what Dr.M said "We could ask about the status of the Malays in Singapore, why they are not allowed to bear arms in the military or train to handle weapons. Why is it that the Malays in Malaysia are so capable in the military field but the Malays in Singapore cannot hold high posts (in the military)?"
I wanna tell him straight in the face that he is so damn wrong. Malay in Singapore are given a chance to hold a M-16 and now, a SAR 21. There are commanders who are Malay. Malay in Singapore are well treated by the Government, from what I know, Malays are funded in term of education all the way to universities if they have the ability to.
Personally, I felt that Chinese and Malays, as well as Indians are all well treated in Singapore. If the Malays are treated unfairly, why didn't I see them mirgrating to Malaysia since it is a better piece of land.
If I could, I really want Dr M to eat back his words.
He really did not do his homework well.. Such comments will only make himself a laughing stock, to Singaporeans especially.
Oh ya, I think I smelt vinegar in this article, plain jealousy over the success of a tiny country which was once an asset of Malaysia; finanacially, we fare better, economically we progress faster.
The only things that won't worth much money is the brain of a Singaporean; we have lotsa dead brain cells, that won't fetch us much cash if we decided to sell it away.
whispered @ Saturday, September 23, 2006 by stardusz Finally, my sis got his album from the music yesterday. The singer who mumble the lyrics as he sings and yet his songs is always a hit (or 2 and soemtimes even more) in Asia.
Never facied his songs until I heard one that he sang about his grandmother. The lyrics touched me and from then I started searching the old songs that he has sung before. And..... voila! I know why his songs are popular; his songs show his love for his family and an anti-war guy. His songs always have some oriental sentiments in them that remind you that you are a Chinese so, don't forget your root and be proud of it.
Jay has directed 2 MV for his current album.. Not bad, one of it is rather touching.
